I'm still a mess, but I'm still trying, too.
I'd love to tell you everything, but that would take a very long time.
I am (finally) writing again (you've always been a good influence on me). It is all about my stroke. It is still in progress. I wonder, though, do you know anyone who might be interested in publishing it? Or how I might start to look? It's mostly for other stroke victims, of whom there seem to be quite a few.
You looked great when you were here in the fall. I hope your new baby,and your old one, too, is well. Tell Julianna that I am looking forward to meeting her.
Despite the signature, it will be at least another year before I can go back to work.

Oh my God! How great to hear from you, Lilian! I'm so relieved and delighted that you're better, or better enough to write. I'm in Maui, on a 6 week stay with the whole family, which is to say it's not much of a vacation (hardly any waves and less time to surf) but we're glad to be out of Brooklyn for a long stint finally.
